Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0
The Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 is the lowest category of the World Series by Renault championship and for many young drivers it is the first championship after termination of the karting period. Small and relatively cheap car of this class is one of the best examples of the slow adaptation of the drivers who start their racing career.
One of the main peculiarities of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 is money prize according to the season results; the series champion receives the money to participate in Formula Renault 3.5, that is one of the main competitions of the European youth formula races. Some time ago such drivers as Kimi Räikkönen and Valtteri Bottas were getting more and more famous in this category.

The weekend format
One Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 stage includes two or three races. According to the schedule of each particular stage of the championship the racers participate in one or two races on Saturday whereas the final ride is on Sunday.
