“We are in the top ten,” said Viktor Kiryanov, President of the Russian Automobile Federation. “We have excellent drivers who successfully perform not only abroad, but also in Russia. Now we do our best to involve young drivers, we hold prestigious motorsport competitions in the country. We want to see as many young drivers as possible both in Russian and in international championships. It is important that we take care of our young drivers, involve them in competitions, in particular, with the help of the SMP Racing Academy founded by Boris Romanovich Rotenberg. We also had the honor to hold the annual award ceremony of the FIA champions in St. Petersburg, which also speaks of the growing image of Russia as a country of motorsport.”
